What instruments do you play, if any? How do you manage finger stress due to climbing and playing, both quite tolling in different ways?

I play the bagpipe and found that I cannot really train fingers, or climb hard, and play the same day.

Hmm interesting. I play guitar and electric bass and I do very rarely find my fingers get uncomfortable playing after hard climbing but I find it rather rare.

Not an instrument but I can’t do heavy duty hammering after a day of climbing or vice versa

I play guitar and find that playing after climbing is noticably harder. I like to play emo/prog stuff and some licks I can only do after a day or two off from climbing. I've just accepted that I won't be a stellar guitar player while being a rock climber.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
