Different grades for same route?

On the Android app, this route is rated 5.11d
But on the website, it's rated 5.11c

I did run the "Update" to make sure I had the latest data for Canada on my app.
Is this a bug, or does the website use the average suggested grades from votes, and the app sticks to the original grade?

The app lags behind behind the website a couple of weeks. The website grade was 11d previously, too.

Somebody recently suggested 11c changing the average grade.

I didn't know we could affect the displayed grade based on our own suggestions.

That's interesting to find out :)

What is the algorithm behind that? A simple average? A malicious actor could screw up some grading, if that is the case.

It roughly takes the median grade with some weird behavior mixed in.
