iOS - Links to MP within Chrome auto-open app, but app won’t load unless area is downloaded

Basically the subject. If I click a MP link within Chrome (apple iphone) it defaults to opening the MP app. If I’m opening a link for an area I don’t have downloaded, then nothing happens: the app opens and keeps me on the home page.

Basically there’s no point to have MP links open in the MP app unless you have the area downloaded.

I can’t find a way to break this cycle.

Bump. This auto-open feature is trash.

Thanks, J P. We're working on this. Definitely want to make sure a user ends up at the right page for whatever link they open.

Every time I try to open an image full screen on the mobile browser it redirects me to app. It’s brutal. Thanks for taking a look. I use the web app on mobile regularly to see areas I dont have downloaded

edit: even if I have the area downloaded the deep link does not work and only opens the app but does not open the image

This should be fixed now or very soon depending on device cache.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
