How do I view forum messages?

When I go to view my messages I only see the option to connect an onX account, which I don't have. How do I view my forum messages? Hopefully I'm doing something wrong!

The "Messages" link you are referring to is Onx trying to sell you things.  If a user DMs you it goes straight to whatever email address you have connected to your MP account.  There is no way to view DMs on the MP platform, only via your email inbox.
