Curious if anyone has any beta on climbing in Leonidio, Greece.

Is November pretty prime temps?

Easy to find partners?

Any info is appreciated.

I went in January and it was wonderful. There are a bizillion people there, mostly Europeans. Crags would basically have every route with a rope on them at some points, so It would be very easy to find a partner. The whole village is basically full of visiting climbers. There is a cafe/pub co-up place that is owned by clmbers and where climbers hang out, easy place to meet partners. Most people speak english at least somewhat. No specific beta for what its like in November, I would imagine its very nice.

Been twice in November/December. Prime temps. Went in March also last year - Wet tufas and cold weather.

Other than that I agree with what Cory says above. Great place.

Hey folks. This thread has me stoked on heading to Greece this winter. Any recommendations on where to stay in Leonidio? Are there any climbing hostels in town?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
