Hi folks! I recently purchased a pair of Unparallel Newtro VCS shoes and liked them quite a bit after trying them at home, a bit narrow for my feet but pretty comfy overall. But then, as I got on my toes while checking the fit, I realized that the rand of the shoe deforms significantly when I lift my heels and push my feet to the front of the shoe (it also protrudes forward when the feet are flat on the ground but doesn't feel as bad). I found this odd as I'm not downsizing aggressively for this specific shoe, so I took out my painfully downsized Instinct S to compare them. This was the result:
Unparallel Newtro VCS:
Scarpa Instinct S:
My other, less downsized shoes show even less of a bulge in front when I stand on my toes. Is this normal for the Unparallel Newtro or is this particular pair defective? Does it happen with other Unparallel shoes?
