The AMC Boston Ice Program is a volunteer-run instructional program designed to teach waterfall ice climbing to students with outdoor rock climbing and winter sports experience. The Ice Program is a fun, inclusive, community-oriented experience that enables students to learn safe, efficient ice climbing skills and techniques in a supportive environment.

The program consists of two weekends in NH (Jan 27-29 and Feb 10-12 2023) and three Wednesday lectures in the Boston area. The cost will be about $335 for AMC members and $385 for non-members (which includes rustic lodging for both program weekends). Participants should supply their own boots and crampons (we can provide recommendations for rentals). AMC Boston will provide ice tools to borrow.
