I see the new TC Pros did not fix the rubber issue

I’ve blown out a few pairs of the old ones, but god damn, does that side rubber start to peel quick.  A Shame, for an otherwise solid $170 shoe.

Why don’t they stitch that on?

I never understood the tons of digital ink that has been spilled on this forum over Five Ten quality issues when its been every Sportiva product that has fallen apart on me (I own like 10 pairs of Anasazi VCS and they last through 2 resoles). The TC Pro rand delam issue has been well documented (and, I wanted to believe they fixed it on the new version), but I just noticed both the soles are separated at the heel on my leather TX Guides (a shoe I initially raved about).

Eh, whatever. It'd be nice if they had fixed it, but if this means we still just have to do a glue-reinforcement job on each new pair, that's easily manageable. It's ugly but it works, and the shoes still perform great for their intended purpose.

The shoes certainly aren't perfect, but they do the job well and their one well-publicised weak point is to easily dealt with.

I’ve had a bit of that edge roll on my TCs. I’ve never fixed it and it never progressed into something that changed functionality.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
