Stoney point camping

Same question as for Malibu, what’s camping look like at Stoney? I don’t think there is, not even overnight parking but is there anywhere? |

For the good of humanity, there is no camping at Stoney Point. |

Homeless people have been camping at Stoney Point for decades. There is a photo of Guy Keesee feeding a hot dog to a hobo that is rather disturbing. Post up Guy! |

David Katzwrote: It’s not my photo. To the OP. You can camp anywhere in the urban spots- it not enjoyable. There is camping at a spot between Moorpark and SimiValley that’s call “Oak Park” located on Easy Street- LA Ave- the old 118 (It’s a forgotten road)... when you get to Moorpark on the 118, going west, exit Collins Drive- turn left- go over fwy make another left - drive about 1-2 miles and look for the signs “Oak Park” ...... I’m not sure if it’s open now due to the “scamdemic” - I had some friends who parked and camped in RV a few years ago. Some climbers do bivi at SP.... Park on Santana Susana and carry your stuff across Topanga. But you live in LaVerne, it’s only a 45 min drive. Hope this helps |
