Same question as for Malibu, what’s camping look like at Stoney? I don’t think there is, not even overnight parking but is there anywhere?

For the good of humanity, there is no camping at Stoney Point.

Homeless people have been camping at Stoney Point for decades. There is a photo of Guy Keesee feeding a hot dog to a hobo that is rather disturbing. Post up Guy!

It’s not my photo.

To the OP. You can camp anywhere in the urban spots- it not enjoyable.

There is camping at a spot between Moorpark and SimiValley that’s call “Oak Park” located on Easy Street- LA Ave- the old 118 (It’s a forgotten road)... when you get to Moorpark on the 118, going west, exit Collins Drive- turn left- go over fwy make another left - drive about 1-2 miles and look for the signs “Oak Park” ...... I’m not sure if it’s open now due to the “scamdemic” - I had some friends who parked and camped in RV a few years ago.

Some climbers do bivi at SP.... Park on Santana Susana and carry your stuff across Topanga.

But you live in LaVerne, it’s only a 45 min drive.

Hope this helps

Did that about 20 years ago ... Local PD was not amused.

I guess the "Blue Glow" of my Pika ledge fly was "A matter of concern" as they called it.
