Android app keeps deleting areas and won't re-download unless I uninstall/reinstall app

I end up in some place without signal, go to look at a route and it says "Download Colorado?" even though I had already downloaded Colorado.  This did not used to happen.

Then, back home again, I go to download Colorado and the button doesn't respond; force quit and restart doesn't help.  The button is just dead (although the "No Thanks" button just below it works fine).  The only cure is to uninstall/reinstall then download Colorado.  But the next time I'm at the crag a few weeks later, it'll be gone again.

When my note 9 does this I go to home screen, scroll to bottom of page then (manage areas tab) to find download list and refresh downloads without reinstalling app. Turned updates off and it seems to help as well.

Mine was doing this too, super annoying when you're climbing and can't see areas you know you downloaded. Tried the fix and it's working again.

It seems to be working again last time I tried.

I'm not complaining... it's free, extremely useful, and overall nicely designed.  It was just sad to have such a fatal flaw like that. :)

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
