Route filtering in "What's New"

I use the "what's new" feature pretty regularly to see what people are putting up in my local and regional areas. It would be great if under the routes tab, you could filter by route type.

For instance, I would love to be able to sort for new trad or sport routes, and filter out the boulder problems. At least in Utah, the "What's New" list is predominately new boulder problems.

I would have to agree that a What's New filter would be a great addition.  I really have no interest in boulder problems and it makes new routes (sport or trad) harder to locate.

Love the idea and have it written up to consider. You've likely done this already or it's just not a good workaround/requires too much effort, but you could select more specific Locations or Favorites where route type is potentially organized better so that new submissions within those areas are effectively filtered by type.
