every summer i spend a few weeks up in the cape in hyannis area.. anyone know of any climbing? since there are plenty of beaches i assume there must be some sort of bouldering scene on the cape but from what ive seen, finding anything established on the mountain project is few and far between. any locals have any insight?

I know Nickerson state forest has a large boulder in it: https://www.mountainproject.com/route/110698201/heelium
not sure what else. I’m sure there has to be a bit more

I think of Cape Cod as a very large sandbar. May be a few glacier erratics, like the rest of lower NE?

I spend 2 weeks a year on the cape.  As far as I know, there is really nothing worth going after.  I just go to the playgrounds with my kids and play around on the monkey bars.

I grew up on the cape. Frustrating place to be a climber. There's a handful of glacial erratics scattered about, but not much. Doane Rock, in Eastham, 'smokers rock' next to the tennis courts at the Orleans Middle school. Hokum Rock on Hokum Rock Rd in, I think, Dennis, would be closest to Hyannis and has a few fun, easy problems that you can enhance with eliminates.
Good luck!

A bouldering scene on the cape? I'm thinking you'd have a better chance finding a strip club at Disneyland. Sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, kayaking(fun waves there), fishing, family and booze is what I recommend.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
