Preface: I'm 5'1" with a 25" waist and generally wear an XS in everything including backpacking backpacks. The BD womens Vector Helmet is too big for me (only goes as small as 53cm) and I've generally only had luck with "one size" helmets that look huge. I've been using a second hand Patagonia Crag Daddy 45L for about a year now, but It's falling apart and it's time for me to get a new pack that will accomodate a large amount of gear.
Looking for recommendations on:
A pack 45L or larger with good organization and a comfortable hip belt - considering the Creek 50L, curious about fit while packed.
A helmet that runs small and isn't a childrens helmet - considering edelrid as they seem to run into the smaller range.
The camp storm helmet comes in 2 sizes the smaller size is pretty small. Try that one. I have the larger size and my wife and one of my sons (12) has the smaller size. For packs pick a company like osprey that has fitted packs.
