Anybody know of any climbing of any type other than podunk and rock house within 15 minutes of the brookfields? Looking to explore the local scene even more!

Not sure there is much of a “scene” to speak of but:

Check out Bunyan Mountain in Monson.... pretty nice rock and some longer routes as well (100 ft). Access may be a problem... Al Rubin will likely have the most up-to date info on that. I know Josh Larson put up some hard boulders here as well.

Carpenter Rocks in Sturbridge had a little potential as well. The main wall is totall choss  and quite dangerous but about 70 feet high. A smaller cliff on  the approach looks a little more solid and is quite overhung.

Possibly Devils Peak in Warren

Dean Park in Warren has some large boulders that to the best of my knowledge have never been scrubbed. This is third hand info though... have never checked them out myself.

Hey Ethan, my buddy and I checked out rock house after seeing your post a few weeks ago and we had a good time exploring even if some of the problems have already been established (haven't been to podunk yet or the above places mentioned by JD). If you're ever down to check out some places we would be more than willing to join as we live in the area and are stoked on finding places closer than Lincoln to boulder/climb. Hit me up sometime if interested 774-318-0446
