You need to go hit reddit climbing broseph, pics of shiny gear or no upvotes. They are migrating here just like the tacoheads and building a wall to keep them out is too late.

To the OP,
I had a similar issue with the Attache 3D. This year my kids started belaying each other and I got them set up with a GriGri and tried a Sm'D twist-lock (the one that self closes/locks). Works great and I switched to this myself (or my Spirit screw-lock). Very rarely do I have flipping/rotating/crossloading with the Sm'D or Spirits. I like the set-up a lot and feel I have no need for anything different for my climbing needs.
