Best Compression Problems (V6-V11)
Hey all, I am looking to line up some problems to get on this season and I thought I'd pick your brains. I'm really curious what your favorite compression boulder problems in the Northeast are. Location isn't so much of a big deal. I just really want the best compression lines areas have to offer. Thanks! |

Rumney's Fissue Feature has to be one of the best |

Buddha (V6) in the Gunks |

You’re in Maryland? Come to the NRG. The White (v7), Geometric Equation (V8), and F5 (v10) are all super good compression problems. |

It’s only v5 but I figured I’d mention it since it’s relatively close to Maryland. |
The Pearl v7 in the Gunks, a gorgeous climb though I wouldn't say it is as much of a pure compression line as Buddha or some of the others mentioned. |
Stone Monkey, Monsters wall, Rumney NH. basically a boulder problem |
The compactor in Ayer, MA is really good.. v9. Hard. |
The Hulk, Ice Pond, Ny |

Thanks for all the responses. Lots of good stuff in here. I'll definitely be checking out the Compactor- thing looks super burly. Cobra also looks like a super beautiful line. Next time I'm down that way I'll have to hop on it. |
