Sorry dude - that sucks.  Good luck with recovery.

Might be helpful to know if there are any identifying marks/labels on the stolen equipment to indicate they're yours. Otherwise we'd risk borderline interrogating or unfairly accusing people who legitimately own the same items.

I agree this could potentially be helpful, but it would have to be a relatively stupid thief to steal the gear with the intention of selling it, then proceed to post it on the internet without removing the tape/racktag/nail polish

I’m so sorry that this happened to you; people can be such scum.  I really hope you find the person who stole your gear, and they receive the punishment they deserve.

It's common protocol for even the police to ask for identifiers on stolen property.

A guy in my club recovered a pair of brand new Nomics that he'd lost precisely because he mentioned identifiers (surname written on blue electrical tape, uniquely colored cords strung through the bottoms of the grips) when putting out notices on message boards. The ice tools passed through many hands on their way back to him, but a month later they were back in his hands. Anyone along the way could have removed the identifiers and claimed them for him/herself, but that didn't happen.

Doesn't hurt to give more details either way, and if they increase chances of recovering such a big loss by even .5%, I'm not sure why one wouldn't do it. But your stuff, your choice!

Thanks for the support and comments.  I had marked some of the quick draws with blue tape in dead spots but I doubt much of it is still there.  The rest is not really marked.  The bag had specific tears on it, some of the lockers were worn to a certain extent... other than that I've got nothing.  Unless..
