Dude's Throne Conditions?

Anyone climbed at Dude's Throne in GGCSP recently? Thinking about going up Sunday and want to make sure the roads are open, no climbing closures are in effect, etc... I checked the website but it's not super helpful and looks like the conditions haven't been updated in some time.

I was there a week ago. We climbed along the entire length of the wall and everything was dry. Really nice once the sun came out. Before that it was pretty cold, but we also weren't super prepared. The approach was snowy with sections of post-holing. I was fine in sneakers and sweats.

We climbed at Dudes Throne on Sunday so I wanted to post a follow up for anyone interested in conditions up there.

Aspen Meadows campground is currently closed for the season but there is parking at the intersection of Gap Rd and Aspen Meadows Campground Rd. This adds maybe 10 extra minutes of approach. Hike it was really easy. A little mud in places and still snowpack once you leave the road. I was fine in ankle high boots. Footpath to the crag is pretty well marked with cairns. The crag itself is in great condition, rock and belays both are dry.

We had a great time up there and can see this being a frequent summer spot when the campground opens up again.

Anyone know if Dude's Throne is accessible? I've been out of the state for the past 6 months. Not sure what snow levels are looking like..

You may have to park at the main road, and there may be a little snow in the woods, but I’ll bet it’ll be ok. Might be too hot tomorrow.
