Corte Madera Question

Im looking to check out Corte and was wondering if my front wheel drive Honda CRV will make it up los pinos road? has anyone been recently and how long of a portion is in bad shape? I feel pretty confident in my off road abilities with the car

I was there a 2 weeks ago with a friend. His 2wd suzuki gran vitara made it just fine. The top section after you drop down from the fire lookout is in the worst shape. I normally walk from the lower trailhead, if you are in 2wd car the driving takes just as long as the extra approach. I hear it can get pretty messy after it rains and that area is on flash flood watch right now, so maybe give it a few days or walk the upper part before committing to the descent.

It's hard to say 'yes' definitively but, combined with the fact that you are comfortable off road-ing, I'd say you have a good chance of making it.
