Harness identification

Hi all,

I just got done watching the trailer for The Martian, a movie set to come out in November about an astronaut that gets stranded on Mars. In the trailer, the astronaut wears a heavily modified climbing harness as part of his space suit. Do you think you could help me identify the base harness used? It has been really bugging me. I've attached some reference pictures...

A few characteristics that jumped out at me...
1. Buckles on the leg loops are obviously modified, as they do not have the capability to double back.
2. Shiny waist buckle is on the right side of the harness. The majority of harnesses I've run across have them on the left. Buckle looks like a Petzl?
3. Waist strap tapers on left side. Closest harness I've found is an old Petzl Hirundos, but the taper and buckle are both on the wrong side. Also, the leg loops don't match.

4. Gear loops are orange or red, encased in a plastic material. Attached at an angle, which is also uncommon.

There is obviously heavy modifications done to this harness. Colors may have been changed, but if you could give me an idea of the base harness used or point me in the right direction, that would be much appreciated.

By the thickness of the waste belt and appearance of what used to be shoulder straps on the front that would have gone to one on the back. My bet would be that they were using a work harness of some sorts.

you may have some success doing some simple work harness searches, the likely-hood that a one off harness was created for the movie is unlikely but possible.

Looks like the Wild Country Syncro Elite fits the bill for most of it, but definitely modified and/or an older version or variant.

It is a Wild Country Vision Ziplock Sport, with modified leg loops. Thanks to shoo for pointing me in the right direction!

Here are 2 pictures I found that nearly completely match that of the used in the movie (a couple buckles were swapped out and logos changed) Vision ziplock in the dark red color.
