If someone buys them they will hopefully use them for something other than climbing, like making a rug. Hopefully nobody in this community would be idiotic enough to go climbing on ropes that are visually not safe. The post has already been posted, if someone wants the ropes they can now contact him and buy them. What is locking the post going to do other than close out some otherwise interesting dialogue on yet another ethic??
Old Ropes...can be interpreted so many different ways by each person posting about their old rope. I've got 'old ropes' that never took a lead fall, never went over an edge, and I still use for toproped short routes today. I've cut them up and used short sections on gym walls. They show no age or wear and I highly doubt that they would just plain snap in half one day while toproping. Yet I would probably not sell them to anyone who doesn't know me or my ropes.

Others may have stored their old ropes improperly, let their dog sleep on the old rope for 6 months, and still blindly say they are 4sale' and good. It's up to the owner and how truthful they are about the exact use and storage of the ropes in question.

I think the plan is to become more Mormon friendly for our friends in Utah, then start collecting a tithing.

Oh, he's just saying that religious bigotry is still okay. Either that or he's really oppressed by what people in Utah do. Or maybe he is just ... LaDouche.

Translating words was never a specialty of many Mormons was it Price?

If you wanna talk bigotry than I suggest we talk about the 100+ million dollars the LDS spent on keeping marriage rights AWAY from gay people.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
