My old Cilogear backpack has some holes and tears. I'm wondering what material I can get easily and fix the holes and tears. Thanks!

You can buy a pack of gore-tex or ripstop nylon patches for like 3-5 bucks. They`re usually Iron on or they`ll come with a tube of seam grip. I make the patches round or at the least round the corners off so it doesnt peel off, which is inevitable if you leave the patches square. If the damage is done on a high traffic area like on the bottom of the bag I put 1 patch on the inside and 1 on the outside just to beef it up. If they`re small tears or holes like from branches or crampons I just use seam grip directly on the material with no patch

I'd go with Sail Rip-Air tape and some seam grip to reinforce.

Aquaseal and dental floss. Preferably Glide. Patched the bottom of my Alpine/Lowe crag pack this way. Looks like hell but is holding strong.

+1 sail rip-air and seam grip.

Thanks! Any idea what store would carry the Sail RipAir? Local EMS doesn't carry it. I used duck tape for my last repair job, it works great for about half a season, then I have to patch again.
