I'm in Mark. Just say when and which bar/house. John M. drinks all night for free with a ride home(no puking on/in the Dodge tho).

Unless voted out, I'll go. But where? I used to party at Jose O'Sheas on 6th and Simms, but that's not really in Golden. There's Kermits at I-70 and Central City Parkway exit (again not Golden, but close). I remember spending like 8 bucks for a margarita at that southwest motif thing in downtown Golden once, that's no good.......
More I think about it, Kermits isn't a bad idea. Its at the head of Clear Creek, we could get all liquored up and go into the canyon and.............

We can invade the Yard House @ Colorado Mils mall. Great selection of booze. Plus there are tons of seedy little bars off Colfax in the Lakewood/Golden area we can take over.

I'd love to join, just decide when and where and I'll be ready to drink. It'll be nice to meet some people to go climb with, I'm fairly new to the Denver area, everyone I know is up in Summit County.

I'm in as well. I'd second the Yardhouse suggestion. Or, as an alternative, the Spot = just North of the Hwy 93/6 intersection on the east side. As long as the beer is cold, it's all OK.

Depending on when, I'm in. Glad somebody is doing something on my end of town. Mike Lane, want to car pool from my house?

Sure thing, Lee. I'll drag Tom along too.

Great! I also need to get down to Hasslewood CannedYam to do some clamboring with Tom Hasbeen and Mik Lame.

Hey now, I strongly represent that remark. Besides, its Devils Head time now for the DCCC. Aiming for next Sunday. Looks like were getting all the 4 or 5 climbers who reside south of I-70 interested in the beer night, eh?

well i dont know any of you guys, but assuming i dont have to work im so down. that south of 1-70 remark got me. you decide on a time/place yet?

My suggestion would be for next Friday, maybe after work. I think that the Yardhouse sounds about as good an idea as any.

Friday the 29th? That is doable. I will have to pass on the DCCC Devil's Head however, because of my backcountry cragging trip.

Hmmm, climbers south of I-70? Count me in. I thought I was alone down here.

Does anyone ever climb down this way? I'm getting tired of driving to Eldo and/or Boulder Canyon 4 times a week!

Does that apply to us old farts who just started climbing as well?

My wife and I just moved from Boulder To Golden. This Friday sounds like fun, but we have inlaws in town. Drink one for me. Always looking to get out with people after work during the week and weekends. Trad, Sport, Alpine, etc. Email cooperbest@gmail.com

Fri might be later in the eve for me. Is the consensus the Yardhouse?

Is John M. in?

John McNamee · · Littleton, CO · Joined Jul 2002 · Points: 1,690

Sorry, can't do Friday. I'm heading up North on Friday morning.

Thanks for the offer of beers though, much appreciated. Maybe next time.

Cheers

John
