Let's not look a gift horse in the mouth. One forum is more than enough, Zander. TRS techniques aren't complicated enough to warrant their own (though the FB TRS group does its best to try).

Agree. There's plenty of room for LRS and TRS on one sub-forum.

Volume-of-posting-wise, I agree that one forum is enough -- I was thinking more for clarity of topic and ease of filtering by interest. 

That being said, one mega rope solo forum here will be awesome to have, thanks all!

I find it more hassle than it's worth mounted on the harness because so much energy is wasted pulling cache -- both because of the friction of the device but also because the throw length is so low. With the FB attached to a double-length sling bandoliered over my shoulder and attached via the swage hole with cotton string, I was able to improve the efficiency of the device by 10x and didn't have to go ham with a saw and grinder like Rogers did. Now it's not only extremely easy to pull cache, it's also easy to monitor how much is out since it's less likely to get obscured in the harness jumble. I'm far less likely to short-rope myself now.

I like the idea, but I'm still not sure about attachment. I guess some thin string will thread through that tiny hole, but how do you attach that to the sling? In my attempt, I noticed that as soon as I start adding attachment devices like carabiner/etc, it make the device hang lower and lower with each new device. Ideally, you'd want the freebell at the same level as the doubled sling, but I was kind of stuck trying to figure out how to attach it that high.

Kevin and Rope, finally made that video I kept promising and putting off. Hopefully it explains the setup well enough to replicate. If you got any questions let me know.

Rogers himself made it for me for $10. It's just 4mm dyneema cord which he spliced loops on both ends. He's on the record as being happy to make one for anyone who asks so I'd just drop him a PM if you don't want to make one yourself.
