Can't embed Youtube Shorts

Either Youtube Shorts are unable to be embedded on MP, or I'm doing something wrong. Inserting a video and pasting the youtube short link doesn't seem work properly. It would be nice to be able to embed them, since lots of content is being created only on youtube shorts these days.
