Prices and gear stores in Barcelona

I’m traveling to Spain soon and am wondering how the cost of gear (harness, shoes, rope) compares to the US. Also any recommendations for climbing shops in BCN would be appreciated. Cheers

Honestly Spain (especially Decathlon) is usually cheaper than US for basic gear like harness/ropes, shoes are kinda similar price tho - I’d just grab stuff there if you’re not super picky.

Thanks for the responses yall. I ended up buying a rope from decathlon, simond brand 80m 9.5 for €130. I hate to support this type of store instead of a proper climbing shop but it was wayy cheaper than anywhere else I looked (did not make it to barrabes). Pretty impressed with this rope so far, has a decent hand, takes knots well, and seems pretty durable - no fuzzing after 10 days of cragging.
