Edit: Who's climbed at Currahee Mountain in Georgia?

I'd thumbs up Currahee for a family day like this. 

Currahee has easy access to most anchors at the top of the main wall that will give you a variety of options, and a lot of beginner friendly routes if you're trying to put new climbers on routes.

This also gives you the option of having the new belayers always having you on TR, instead of learning to lead belay you on day 1. You can put them on a long 5.fun route and then move your gear a few feet over to the next anchor and be on more challenging routes. If setting TR's, I'd bring extra material to extend over the edge, and/or rope protector here. I've only approached from the bottom parking lot and it's a chill 20 min hike up. The approach from the top is shorter, but the road can be rougher from what I've heard, so ymmv based on your vehicle options.   

Unless they're avid hikers, your family may hate you and never climb again if you make them do the Yonah approach on their first day climbing outside.

Haven't been to the other places you mentioned.

Anyone going to be there this upcoming weekend? Message me if so! I'd be happy to swap belays, my fam just wants to see the spot and doesn't climb…

How likely is it that we'll see others there? We can't stay long, but figured I'd ask - wish I had a friend in the area so I didn't have to bring my 70 on the plane. And because I have to teach my fam to lead belay me on the spot. 

You're pretty likely to run into people. You can setup a TR on the vast majority of routes without having to lead them if you want to avoid that

Set up top ropes so your family doesn’t have to lead belay you!

Shoot, I have a day left to reassure my family or figure out a mode of transportation because they're really worried about taking a nice car up to the crag. Does anyone know the condition of the road to Brick Wall (Currahee) right now??

It's a little steep and gravelly from what I remember this past Christmas
