Locked threads by moderators are pretty lame most of the time, but far worse is someone starting a thread, seeing it go against his/her plans, and then locking it. That's some seriously cowardly bullshit.

Funny thing about The Market. Even when it is run badly, when the Collectivists hold the means of production, it still can function and create value. The thing is, the Market is at its very best when Laissez-faire adherents hold the reins thus creating a truly liberating environment for human ingenuity to flourish

My wife does this, drives me crazy.

Related, she’s lost her belay device a few times…

"Ick, usually the ick, refers to a sudden feeling of disgust or repulsion that causes a permanent reversal in feeling toward a romantic (or potential romantic) partner. Ick is also used (often without the, as in “a list of icks”) for the cause of the disgust or repulsion itself. It is sometimes used more broadly for a feeling of disgust or repulsion outside of the context of romantic relationships."

Make sure the gri-gri doesn't obscure your belay card or your PAS when you clip it to your belay loop.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
