That's a cool use case, would love to offer that at some point! I usually rack my bail kit onto a single biner, but having it in a little bag would be sleeker and would also let you stash some basic first aid stuff in there too.

The one thing that's given me pause about selling really small bags is that they basically cost the same amount to make as the large bags - you save a fractional amount on fabric costs, but all the hardware and labor doesn't change. So I'd have to price them almost the same as the larger bags, and I'm not sure that folks would go for that?

I get that, I'd personally pay the same amount without it bothering me, I just dont want a big bag on my harness

@Quinn, how do you think these hold up as a bolting kit that might get tagged up a wall (hand drill/hammer/ hardware)...or are these more designed for standard multipitching?

They would work well to hold bolts and maybe a compact hand drill, but wouldn’t fit a hammer unless it’s less than 20cm in length.

I am interested in doing a slightly tweaked design that’s larger for use as a tagline bag for popular 6mm tagline setups (thinking two size options for 30m and 60m taglines) and I’d love to make it work well as a bolting kitbag too. Maybe shoot me an email (quinn@mountaindrifter.com) if you’d be interested in testing a prototype of that setup?

Looks like good kit. I like to see startups and innovation, keep up the good work Quinn.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
