Just wanted to pass along that I traded up and got the crack gloves pro after the regular crack gloves and Im really happy. Better design on the velcro so it hides under the cover better than the regular gloves.

Fully agree! They are my new favorites. Excellent glove.

I agree that they are great.  However, they are quite thick so for me they make #3 cracks perfect hands but #1 cracks become even more of a nightmare...

They look very similar to the Wide Boyz gloves but $20 cheaper. I haven’t tried either one but I’ve been looking at beefier gloves than the BD model to see if it makes #4 size cracks easier.

I've been using my pair for about 10 days/sessions now and love them as well. First pair the stitching on the thumb came undone on the first climb but I returned them for a replacement and the replacement pair has been solid.

Have them and love them. Compared to my OR gloves, the finger loops are much thicker and look like they will hold up way more. Agreed, the gloves are indeed thicker, but given that there is no standard crack size, total fist size with glove is always a gamble.

Anyone else having issues with the thumb rubber delaminating? I've tried normal super glue as well as Loctite's shoe goo equivalent but it just peeled right back off after 1-2 sessions. Is barge cement the move?

Both of my thumbs started delaminating, so I just put a little wrap of tape around them. Seems fine for me.

Yeah dude a good high VOS contact cement will probably fix the problem. That or stitching.

I have these. Can't say I recommend them. The stitching on the thumb came undone on the first pitch I climbed. Returned them for another pair thinking it was a fluke and it happened again on the second pair. When you belay or rappel, the rope in your brake hand runs right over the stitched seam on the inside of the thumb. Returned again for a third pair and in this case I immediately covered the seam with aqua seal cement. It's been holding for a while now ... But that's a testament to how good aqua seal is, nothing to do with the glove.

You shouldn't need to make repairs on brand new gear. It's too bad because otherwise they are good... Just have that one big design flaw.

I have had my pro version for over a year now. They are holding up well with moderate usage.

I think they got it right on these with the thumb coverage and re designed wrist strap. The slot in the earlier versions was not executed well. They all tear eventually.

It would be nice if they could make a thinner version without compromizing durability too much.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
