Hi all,

I just moved to Durham, NC and am looking to get into the climbing scene here in NC. I was previously living in Luray, VA and climbing in Shenandoah, Hidden Rocks, Elizabeth Furnace, Seneca, Manchester wall, Love Gap, and other Virginia staples. I started climbing in Jan 2025 and joined the Central Virginia Climbers group where I learned top roping, rappelling, lead belaying and eventually some lead climbing techniques.

In this new phase of my journey I am looking for folks who want to climb on weekends anywhere in NC and within the broader region. I also love to pair climbing with hiking, camping, backpacking, etc to make the adventures all the more fun. I look forward to hearing from any potential partners and/or joining any climbing group messages! My girlfriend and I also have a 2 week pass to the Triangle rock gym so we’ll be checking that out in the next week or two.
Cheers,

Evan

Hey Evan! Also live in the Durham area and am looking for a parter to get into the outdoor climbing scene. I am also getting into some camping/backpacking in the WNC area as well! I currently have a membership at TRC so happy to meet up there one day if you’re down. If you are, feel free to reach out to me on instagram @trinityharner

Look forward to hearing from you!

I’ll be heading that way in a few days.
