Greetings,

We are planning a holiday, climbing and camping trip, and are looking to connect with other traveling families who will be on the road during the same time.

Our Crew & Trip Details

  • Who: Myself, my wife, and our adventurous 4-year-old climber

  • Mode: Traveling and sleeping in our camper van.

  • When: December 27th through January 4th.

  • Where: We will be focused on climbing and camping in the general area of Bishop, CA, Joshua Tree National Park, and Pinnacles National Park

  • Family Match: We are primarily looking for other families traveling by van, or camping, who have children in the 3 to 6-year-old age range. Nothing beats age-based play for keeping the kids engaged on outdoor trips.

If you’re going to be in the area in your van during that time, please shoot me a direct message or text me on whats app 303-80nine-one-four-3- zero!

Let’s link up, let the kids burn off some holiday energy, and get some fun climbing in.

Hi Buckc, I will climb classic moderate's with you and your family for three days in Joshua Tree.  Do you have rope, gear, shoes, and helmets?

Considering that weather lately has been 55/75 each day here, you might consider spending a little more time on the central coast and trading climbing time for beach time. Still decent single pitch to be had at Bishop Peak and Cabrillo, but also good waves and plenty of nice ocean view trails to hike and a boatload of tidepools for the little one to experience. Enjoy your trip

Yeah that's not a bad idea we'll check the weather and plan accordingly. That said we just climbed a couple days in those exact temperatures in Utah and it was pretty fun!

Sean, yes we have all that gear. I'll message you directly to see if we can coordinate logistics.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
