Mountain/Ice climbing boots for Quebec/Adirondacks

Hi,

Looking for a boots recommandation since the information available online is quite sparse and hard to "generalize" to my situation.

Getting into more winter stuff this year (aka "mountaineering" and ice climbing).

I've been really happy with my Ribelle HD's for both summer and a bit of winter but they did show their limit last year on some hikes in Charlevoix with -35c chills and Mt. Adams.

I don't get cold feet easily.

I've been wondering if going for Mont Blanc pros/Nepal Cubes would be worth it/could handle everything or if going directly to Phantom 6000s or similar would be better.

Also, is the Phantom Tech another viable option?

My goal would be to have them suitable for winter hikes/ice climbing in/near Quebec in all conditions and also to a lesser extent 4000ms in North America for eventual trips in the right conditions.

Happy to hear about your suggestions/experiences!

Thank you!

~80% of the folks you will encounter (who are not wearing rentals) will be wearing Nepals. There's a reason for this.

nepals dont fit me at all. hot spot on the pinky toe. Whatever you get try them on first before you commit. I have Asolo whatever the top of the line is. seem plenty warm enough . dont fit them too tight. yes they will climb better but your feet will be cold.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
