Jimbo, you're up.

Let's keep it east. Two views of the same route.

Another hint: this place likes to call itself the "Grand Canyon of the south"

Not it. Though this route is in a bordering state, it's also at a Nuttall sandstone crag.

I'll guess Maine Line at Quoddy Head.

Is this a 13+ gear line above water in Nova Scotia? Just saw this a few months ago and now I can’t remember/find what it was.

Alan’s close enough, it’s Mainiac, 13d, at Quoddy Head. Dan Goodman, a stuntman working a summer as a blueberry farmer put it up in 1984. The same year Wolfgang put up Kanal im rucken, the accredited world’s first 13d. Maniac is probably the first of the grade in North America.

I should

have gotten the name right--my excuse is that it was late in the evening when I responded.

Anyway, I haven't been traveling much lately and this one is probably fairly obscure, so just naming the crag will be sufficient,

Sorry. Didn't mean to stall the thread. I'll give a hint and see if that helps. Like Breaks, a couple of posts ago, this is in a lesser known, but still quality, southern sandstone area. Again, only looking for the area not necessarily the route name ( which I actually don't remember!!!!).

Not Giant Springs. In fact, that is an area that I have never heard of. Where is it?

Giant Springs?

So Ill, Alan.  Actually...I meant Giant City!  Not Dixon Springs...  Funny.

Big South Fork?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
