I received my book as well. I love the binding on this one as it can lay out quite flat. I've spent a couple of hours reading it and I'm stoked. 

My pre-order was delivered the other week, and it is awesome. Best guide I have seen since the Meyers’ topo book from the 80’s. it’s a pleasure to read and full of useful info. It is the best of supper-topo and old school topo formats. This guide will be a classic that you want to own. Erik is still doing a discount on direct orders.

Hi Ally - I work Fri - Tues evenings at Yosemite Lodge mtn room restaurant, so am around the Valley most days even though I live outside the park. 

Buy the book. There is a lot of good content here, including the best approach and descent beta I have seen for any major California guide book that Erik didn’t also write.
