Blodgett Canyon? It's a little ways south of Missoula, but I had a great time there. Beautiful, remote, medium-high rock quality... We did Shoshone South Face and The Free Lament, both were great, I had an existential crisis on the latter. I would hop on Timebender if I was there again.

Blodgett is definitely the gem in Western MT for the traveling trad climber, the Bitterroot is jam packed.

North of Missoula, I’d recommend Stone Hill.  Excellent cragging right from your car and stunning scenery.  A taller gem in NW MT is Ojibway, which might be more attractive if you’re already out by Noxon.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.

Wyoming, Montana, Dakotas
