Been an arborist and rock climber for 6 years and am very passionate about both. I’m new to Denver area and looking for the right tree crew to work on. I know this is a funny place to be networking for work but I figured it’s worth a shot since rock climbers are generally good people. HMU if you work on a good crew!

There’s a lot of us out here, I think my crew is full up but I’ll ask my boss this week. Check out the companies around the 285 corridor (I.e. based in conifer, Morrison, evergreen, etc) - working in the mountains beats the hell out of working in town in the summer and one glance at the hills by Staunton or Idaho Springs and how much beetle kill there is shows nobody is hurting for work

Green saw in Boulder.
work Tuesday - thursday 8-10 hour days with option to work more. Pays higher than average but do have to deal with some of his cheaper stuff and quirks. I worked there last year around this time and a friend of mine still works for him and still likes the company.

Agree with above.  It shouldn’t be too hard to find a tree job.  Work close to the foothills if possible.  Greater Denver is a lot of nasty trees and urban headaches.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
