Recommendations for a Europe trip in late September early August

Hey All.
I'm going to be in Italy in September and I'm going to be able to take time off starting from the 17th onwards, and I was thinking of maybe bringing my gear and staying for a climbing trip, I was considering going up to Chamonix, but at the end of September is basically the end of the season and the weather isn't stable.
Does anyone have any recommendations of where would be the best place to do a climbing trip in Europe in late September early October, Multi-pitch trad, and mountaineering? Also a place where it is easy to find partners. Or if anyone here is looking for a partner around these dates feel free to send me a DM.
Thanks

Late September, early October is best time for Dolomites, weather is usually stable and it's warm enough (usually).

I'm interested in climbing in Dolomites this time, I live close to this area.

i think your best bet is generally to pick an area that offers different options in terms of altitude, temperature, position/aspect.

it's pretty basic: when it's really hot you climb high and/or in the shade.  when it's really cold you climb low and in the sun (preferably in a sheltered, not windy spot).  when it's completely miserable (ie pouring rain for a week) it's nice to have a good gym nearby.

we stayed in st. zyprian (southern tyrol) around the time you're thinking of (a little earlier).  climbed a couple of days in the rosengarten area (southern dolomites), then got snowed on.  that turned out not to be a big deal because we had the option of climbing at (normally quite warm) crags down the hill near bozen.

there are a lot of areas that would work in that regard, innsbruck (northern tyrol) for example is another one.  lots of crags and alpine climbs within a 50mi radius...

You'll already be in Italy and the Dolomites are great that time of year. Stable weather, fewer crowds. Can't ask for more.

Dolomites is a good choice, considering that you can easily move to Val del Sarca-Arco, really close to the Mountains. I live close to that area, pm me if you need betas o a climbing partner
