I’ve got one open day in Jackson this week- what should I climb? Im thinking multipitch trad with good views, 5.9 or easier. I’ve got a very minor foot injury that will slow me down on the descents so I’m not sure if Ive got the grand in me. Anything a little smaller on approach/descent I’m game for though.
The south side routes on Symmetry would work grade wise, not so sure of the approach/descent with a questionable foot. Another option would be The Snaz or other Death Canyon options--the approaches are pretty reasonable by Teton standards and very doable as a day trip, also lower altitude so less potential acclimatization issues, especially coming from Denver.
