If you see the name Hans Webster, stay away. He is a scammer

I agree. I had my doubts, but your post confirms it.

I had posted that I was looking to buy an AMG 105 backpack and got a response from someone named Hans right away via email. He replied to my emails way too quickly, and when I took some time to respond, he became overly persistent—sending repeated messages asking if I had seen his last reply.

When I asked if he was willing to use PayPal Goods and Services, he made an excuse and then disappeared. He’s a scammer.

It seems like he chose that username intentionally, since there’s another member on the forum with the same name who is actually legit and has a good reputation.

Be careful out there—especially with WTB posts.

I'm fairly confident that MP and other websites are filled with bots that look for WTB posts or similar. I've also gotten multiple fast responses from blank accounts after posting WTB here, and I've been in search of concert tickets on Reddit and have gotten the same thing.

Agree with need to call out fake Hans Webster:  made off with payment, then went silent…

Nice of you to have observed.
