Meeting Austin Climbing Partners / Enchanted Rock + TX/AR/OK

Hiii!  I'm Julia.

I am looking to meet climbing partners in the Austin area!  I've been climbing 13 years- mostly trad with some sport and ice mixed in.  Longtime New Yorker, I learned to climb in the Gunks and was a regular there for six-ish years.  I've also climbed a bunch in the Adirondacks, NH, the New, Squamish, and Smith Rock.

However, due to some challenging life circumstances, I took a few years break from climbing, and was just bouldering in the gym during that time (and then moved to Austin for work).  So, I'm experienced but rusty, and just getting back into the swing of it!  I've had a couple recent trips to the Gunks, and now very psyched to get back on the rock more frequently, get mileage on the easy leads and build back to where I used to be.  

Looking for positive, supportive partners who are psyched to climb and bring great energy.  I also value safety minded partners who are attentive and skilled belayers and build good anchors.  I try to be all these things as well!

I'm excited to explore the TX area- Enchanted Rock in particular, and OK and AR too.  Like I said, right now leading the easiest stuff, but happy to belay/ follow harder.   

TBH I'm not a hot weather person (LOL, TX), but still game to get out whenever possible this summer- am down for super early alpine starts and shade chasing!  Happy to meet in the gym first too.   Thanks!
