Hey everyone! I'm a climber who's been away from the sport after moving to the east coast for a couple of years. I'm looking to get back into it, with the goal of tackling multipitch trad routes in the Organ Mountains. I have mostly climbed single-pitch sport routes in Colorado. I’m confident following and cleaning on trad routes, with some multipitch experience under my belt, but haven’t done a lot of leading. I also have some mountaineering experience.
Now that I’m back in the Southwest (in Alamogordo), I’m excited to get back into climbing. I’ve got nearly a full single rack of cams and nuts, a rope, shoes, harness, and helmet ready to go. I’m looking for climbing partners who want to do some local cragging (Dona Anas, etc), and I’d be especially excited to go out into the Organ Mountains to climb easy multipitch if we click. I’m comfortable leading multipitch routes up to 5.4-ish and following up to 5.6-ish at the moment and hoping to improve quickly.
I’m open to all levels of experience, and I'm really excited to meet other climbers.
Here's me leading a multipitch slab route in WA.
