Tuolumne Conditions?

Update 6/8: Remains stormy in afternoons, patchy snow in the shady trees at 8000' and bergs at the usual spots for several more weeks. LOTS of snow up high. |

What about bugs? Planning on Cathedral for the WE, chances of making it out alive? |

Matthes and Cathedral on 30th May - axes were required to chop steps/for possible self-arrest on the last bit of the approach to Matthes, nothing needed for Cathedral. 3rd Pillar on 1st June - nothing needed. The snow gully at the end of the approach gets morning sun and was nice and mushy and safe in approach shoes. |

West crack on the 9th, totally good to go. 3rd pillar on 10th, little mucky on approach trail but good to go. Bypassed the gully it was pretty loose, rapped to bottom. With an 80 was able to get to the side of the steep bergschrund that looked like it wanted to swallow us. |

Anyone have any more current updates on Tenaya? Hopefully no snow by now? |
