Auburn Quarry Seasonal Falcon Closure + other reminders

ASRA has notified CRAGS that the annual spring falcon closure order is impending for the upper walls at Auburn Quarry. We will update when this order is officially posted. 

Reminders that Horseshoe Canyon is still temporarily closed (we hope to reopen this soon) AND that slacklining/highlining is not allowed and any activities that violate these orders jeopardize all climbing access.

Hi, just to confirm - the closure would affect the upper walls only? I want to go to scale wall this weekend and want to double-check it won't be closed as well.

Yes - upper walls only. ASRA has confirmed the closure is active; if not yet formally posted. We will update the board at the Quarry this week.

Is there an update on when the area is opening? 

Historically the closure has been lifted around August-September times

ASRA has notified us that they will be rescinding the falcon closure in the climbing areas at Auburn Quarry effective 7/26!
