My family and I were staying at the Bootleg campground last night. It is located on highway 395 between Bridgeport and Topaz. We stuck it under our truck to make more room in our bed last night, and this morning we drove off without even thinking about it. As far as I know it still sits at camp site 35 right in the driveway.  Didn't realize it until we arrived in Sacramento this morning.

If you happen to be out that way and are making a trip to West Sacramento in the near future, I'll give you a $100 reward for it's return. Also, if you don't feel like returning it, there's a free metolius magnum crash pad at the Bootleg campground, site 35.

I will give them a call. It's a long story, but I won't be back that way until about a year from now, so the offer still stands if someone from the Sacramento area happens to be down that way.

Tom if they say they’ll hang onto it I can drop it off in Sac the 24th. I have business down there. I can pick it up from the ranger station the 18th when I’m heading to the leap for work

I guess, but it's only a 3 hr drive.

I actually live in Wisconsin, so it's more like a 20 hour drive... I need someone to drop it off at a family members place...

Anyway, I left a voicemail at the ranger's office, I'll post an update if someone calls me back on Monday. Thanks to all for your replies.

Ah, that's what we didn't know when you mentioned "back to Sacramento".

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
