Somewhat of a desperate search - I’ll be in Yosemite and the Bay Area and am looking for someone to mount silvretta bindings on my skis for an expedition - or have info about somewhere that can!

Try California Ski Co. and see what they say. Maybe Paul can do it.

Not sure which model you have, and I'm assuming you don't want to do it yourself, but if you are just looking for instructions, I just went through the process of filling old holes and installing silvretta 500's on a pair of skis using the following guide and template. It was easy enough

I have used Sports LTD in South Lake Tahoe to drill nonstandard binding mounting holes. I had Fritchi Diamir bindings they would not mount due to liability concerns but would drill the holes for. I had to glue in the mounting screws and set the binding DIN settings. You would need to show up with the skies boots and binding. You could call ahead to confirm. It was $40 a few years ago. Without the tools and some skills I ended up breaking the same type of binding which resulted in a unpleasant long walk.

It’s out of your way, but if you head North.

Josh at The 5th Season in Mount Shasta mounted mine, no issues at all and done while I was waiting.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
