If anyone has beta on the snow ledge of Tenaya or a current photo of it that would be great |

This is great. Thanks for that photo. |

Up there today. Everything south facing with lots of sun exposure is good to go. Everything else still either has snow at the base or on it (Fairview, Tenaya, Dozier etc). Patchy snow cover everywhere about ~9K, probably another week or three before you want to head into the backcountry. Although it was hot today! 80 at Tenaya Lake, at the end of May. |

dozier - snow at base and lots of wet streaks tenaya pk on rt. dozier and rt. side of medlicott (left side has serious snow banks and water streaks) coming up from the eastside... first day of the season for us. had fun at low profile after getting shut down by the 'creek' on our way to hammer/solar... |

The south buttress of cathedral was perfect! Downclimbing past snowpatches on the descent only slightly increased overall difficulty. |

Anyone have beta on Conness hike and route, or third pillar approach? |

Chris Lowrote: Lots of snow? |

Oof, I'm hoping to be up there Tuesday for some light climbing with the kiddo. Fingers crossed it warms up a smidge. |
|

temps are actually quite nice (especially climbing on south facing stuff), it's the rain/thunderstorms in the afternoon that are worrisome... |
|
|
Update 6/8: Remains stormy in afternoons, patchy snow in the shady trees at 8000' and bergs at the usual spots for several more weeks. LOTS of snow up high. |

What about bugs? Planning on Cathedral for the WE, chances of making it out alive? |
