Ding ding ding, we have a winner. Except one guy who was actually told by his wife to go bigger.

I mostly know this because my buddy is offering me his van and, though it’s a good price, it has me biting my nails.

I bet some interior photos might get people more interested.

Someone PLEASE get this van! A divorce will cost me more than 20k!

It’s just on the wrong side of the country for me! Also, people get freaked out by replacement engines and transmissions, not realizing that done correctly, it’s essentially restarting the lifecycle of a vehicle in terms of expensive stuff. Sure, maybe it’ll need bearings and brakes, or a U joint at some point, but sounds like this van  is awesome and ready to go!

Agree, some parts are "wear parts" as vehicles age; but, sooo much less expensive than a "new" van!

Best wishes

I jinxed myself, now need transmission service/transmission or just convert to 4wd!

Also: bump for John.

Ouch. Yeah, new engine and trans hurt. I think mine ended up being almost 15k. Makes 20k for a whole van with a new engine and trans look like a steal

Bump? I'm tired of arguing with my wife about this van

Congratulations John. Her next adventure begins. We feel for ya brother. Odd how hard it can seem, but time will heal.
