Chain cutting recommendations?

I agree with big red. That normal bolt cutters are a good start. If the chain is stainless, it is much harder to cut through than galvanized. I made maybe 200 cuts before it was too hard to cut through stainless.

I think Harbor Freight has a similar one (42 inch) for 33 bucks.  Not sure what brand mine is but it has no problem with 3/8 chain.  Picked it up at a warehouse sale a bunch of years ago for around 30 bucks.
