There was a climber who got airlifted out on Sunday at Frenchman Coulee in Vantage, WA. There were a helicopter, a fire truck, a couple ambulances and emergency response vehicles. Anyone know if the climber was okay?

Hopefully someone could provide more details. I was nearby when it happened though. From what understand the injured person was at the base of Clip em or stick em and was hit by rock fall on her lumbar vertebrae. We were on the same ledge, and once emergency services were called we got out of there to clear up space. Another party nearby had a nurse, so they were able to help initially. As far as I could tell they were responsive and able to move all limbs.

They did set up a system to lower her on a stretcher, so it must have been serious enough to warrant all that. They probably had like 20+ emergency services people out there, which seemed excessive but idk.

Hopefully they make a full recovery.
